What To Expect At Your Appointment

Please be sure to read our Payment Policy. This policy applies to all patients.

As a patient of AIPM, there are a few things you should know and expect. Please read this information carefully, as it is subject to change at anytime without notice.

As a new patient, we will send a packet of information with forms to be completed prior to your first appointment. Do not mail these forms. You will need to bring them with you to your first visit. Please bring your all insurance cards to each visit. At each visit, please be prepared to pay any co-pays required by your insurance.

As a clinic that manages pain through care plans and office visits, we do not prescribe narcotics after hours or on the weekends. You will need to bring any unfilled prescriptions and pain medications with you to your office visits. We do not replace lost or stolen prescriptions or medications. You will need to schedule subsequent visits far enough in advance that you will not run out of your medication. When you come to your appointments, you should be prepared to discuss the effectiveness of your treatments, including but not limited to:

- How much did the treatment decrease your level of pain?

- How long did it last?

- What activities increase/decrease your pain?

- Have there been any side effects?

Office Policies

You must call at least 24 hours prior to appointment to cancel. Failure to show for an appointment will result in a $25 charge.

There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks. After the first returned check, a patient will no longer be permitted to use personal checks. Payment must be made by cash or credit card. We accept the following credit cards:

- Visa

- MasterCard

- American Express

- Discover

We ask that each patient arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment to complete the necessary paperwork. If a procedure is scheduled, we ask that someone accompany the patient to drive them home as a safety precaution. Patients will need to bring a current list of prescriptions or the prescription bottles to each appointment.
