Dr. T. Stuart Meloy - Medical Director

T. Stuart Meloy, M.D.

Medical Director


Born in Massachusetts, Dr. Meloy lived with his parents in Shorewood, Wisconsin, Reston, Virginia, and Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Deerfield Academy in Massachusetts. After High School, Dr. Meloy earned his Bachelor of Science degree as a Cum Laude graduate of Duke University. He earned honors in the Chemistry department with a focus on bioinorganic chemistry. Dr. Meloy attended the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, where he earned the Annie J. Covington Memorial Award at graduation. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine internship and Anesthesia residency at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. After completing his training, he moved to Winston-Salem, NC and has been there ever since. He is the President and Co-founder of Advanced Interventional Pain Management, which began in 2005. Dr. Meloy married his college sweetheart, Barbara, in 1980. They have two children, Cassandra and Gus. Dr. Meloy enjoys the outdoors, having attended Outward Bound courses in Maine and Colorado. His hobbies include rowing, scuba diving, and aviation. He is a PADI certified Rescue Diver and an Instrument rated pilot.


Dr. Nancy Faller, D.O.

Nancy Faller, D.O.

 

Dr. Faller received her B.S. in Nursing from Emory University and her D.O. with honors from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Faller served in the United States Army Medical Corps for five years. Subsequently she completed her Residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical University of South Carolina. Prior to joining Piedmont Institute of Pain Management in 1995, Dr. Faller taught at the Medical University of South Carolina as an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology. In 1997 she became a diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine. Dr. Faller, along with Dr. Meloy, co-founded Advanced Interventional Pain Management in 2005 where she holds the title of Vice President.
