Julie Rowland, MPT DPT

Physical Therapist

 
Dr. Rowland grew up in Asheboro, North Carolina with her parents and one brother. After high school, Julie earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 1999. Working in Asheboro, Winston-Salem, and Mocksville, North Carolina, she has focused her continuing education on spinal disorders and specialized in orthopaedic physical therapy. She returned to academics to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2010. Her capstone project on the relationship between TRAM flap breast reconstruction, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and greater trochanteric bursitis has been submitted for publication in physical therapy journals. Her hobbies include golf, hiking, SCUBA diving and home construction projects.

 

 

Jennifer Wilmoth, PA-C

Mrs. Wilmoth is a 2003 graduate on the Physician Assistant Program at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Prior to this she graduated Cum Laude from Salem College in 2002 with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She worked in critical care for 9 years before joining our practice. Mrs. Wilmoth lives locally with her husband and son, and is very involved with the quilting group at her church.

Ernest Hodges, PA

Mr. Hodges is a 1987 graduate of the Physician Assistant Program of Bowman-Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. He has worked in Rehabilitation Medicine and Pain Management for 15 years and was an Emergency Medicine Technician and Fireman in Virginia prior to becoming a physicians assistant. Mr. Hodges undergraduate degree was in theology from Piedmont Bible College. He is involved in the community through his church and has been involved in high school athletics for over a decade as a coach and play-off director for home school athletics. Mr. Hodges has also received additional training in pain management through the American Society of Anesthesiology Pain Management Section.
